For a start it´s probably a good idea to introduce myself a little.
I´m a simple girl from a small town. I may be way over 20 on papers, but still a 15year old at heart. I just don´t want to grow up.
I come from a small european country named Slovakia. Not much happens here, but it can be nice. Well...at least the centre of my city has something to offer (if you like nice old architecture) and we have here a lot of green here, too. But for a goth girl, there isn´t much for entertainment...better to say, we don´t really have a goth scene where I live. Probably the only one is in the capital city - at the other side of the country. No goth shops, no goth events and well...not many goths.
But at least there are other "weirdos" here...I found many friends among otakus, cosplayers, metalheads, punks and other kind of alternatives, which is really nice.
One of my biggest hobbies is, as you probably already guessed, standing in front of a camera.
I´m in no way a professional model, as I was never published or paid, but that doesn´t bother me very much. I always considered it more of a hobby, than "work". It´s a nice way to relax, meet new interesting people, see new places and of course...have great photos and see myself and my (or photographers) ideas come to life.
I still have a lot to learn and I want to get better and better.
But, when living in a part of the country (or even part of the world) where alternative modeling is an unknown term, it´s not easy to find many photographers that would be interested, and finding a photographers who is more (or less) oriented in gothic and dark styled photography is almost impossible.
All that´s left is to try and start saving money for future, so I can go traveling around for photoshoots.
My other big hobby is also connected with photography. I love taking photos as well.
I only have a cheap ultrazoom digital camera, that´s hardly enough for me, but it´s okay for most of the things. Most of the photos I take are oriented at nature or various objects...and I totally suck at taking photos of human beings.
And I should not forget editing and retouching photos.
Next year should be full of changes, as I´m planning to invest a little bit into these two hobbies - a better notebook (as I have only a netbook now where I can´t even have Photoshop, because it will freeze immediately, so I´m dependent on simpler graphic programs) and a better camera. I´m already looking forward to it.
Apart from things connected with photography, I also enjoy making jewellery. It´s a nice and productive way to spend time at home.
Other hobbies include watching anime and Doctor Who, listening to music (from various goth genres, through punk, metal, rock, J-rock, to classical music and soundtracks), writing (blog posts and stories) and shopping (loooots and looots of shopping. Especially in second hand shops, as that´s the most fun
). Well, for the start, this is probably more than enough.
